Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern any work carried out by Sahaj Takneek (“we”, “us”, “our”) for a client (“you”). By approving a quote, making a payment, or asking us to start work, you agree to these terms.

Our services

We build WordPress websites, WooCommerce stores, and Android apps. The exact scope of any project — pages, features, integrations — is agreed with you before work begins, based on your requirements at the time.

Quotes & pricing

Prices shown on our website are starting points, not fixed quotes. Once we understand your actual requirements, we’ll share a specific quote in writing. Work begins only after you approve that quote.

If you ask for something outside the agreed scope partway through a project, we’ll let you know before doing it whether it changes the price or timeline.

Payment terms

• Projects require 50% of the total as an advance before work begins, with the remaining 50% due on handover.
• Payments are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Work may pause on overdue payments.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) unless otherwise agreed.

Timelines & your role

We’ll give you a realistic timeline once scope is confirmed. That timeline depends on us getting what we need from you on time — content, images, logins, and feedback. Delays on your end may push back the delivery date.

Revisions

A reasonable number of revisions are included as part of the agreed scope, to refine what was originally requested. Requests that go beyond the original scope — new pages, new features, a different design direction — are treated as additional work and quoted separately.

Ownership & intellectual property

Once a project is paid for in full, ownership of the final website, app, or design files transfers to you. Until final payment is received, all work remains the property of Sahaj Takneek.

Third-party costs

Domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, and paid third-party services are billed separately unless specifically included in your quote. We’re happy to recommend and help set these up.

Support after launch

We fix genuine bugs related to our own work, free of charge, for one month after launch. This doesn’t cover new features, content changes, or issues caused by third-party plugins, hosting, or changes made by you or another developer after handover.

After that, ongoing care is available through an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) — ₹2,500/year for WordPress websites, and ₹5,000/year for WooCommerce stores and Android apps. This covers routine updates, backups, and minor fixes; exact coverage is confirmed with you when you sign up.

Confidentiality

We treat your business information, credentials, and project details as confidential, and won’t share them with third parties without your consent, except where needed to deliver the project (e.g. a hosting provider) or where required by law.

Limitation of liability

We aim to deliver reliable, well-built work, but we can’t guarantee it will be completely free of errors or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Sahaj Takneek isn’t liable for indirect losses (like lost profits or data) arising from the use of a website or app we’ve built. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.

Termination

Either party can end a project with written notice. If you cancel after work has started, you’re responsible for paying for the work completed up to that point. Any advance paid is non-refundable once work has begun, unless we mutually agree otherwise.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts where Sahaj Takneek is based.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Terms agreed to in an existing signed quote or contract are not affected by later changes to this page.
